Final Fantasy X HD Reappears on Vita

A number of character models have been shown off for Final Fantasy X HD on the PlayStation Vita, marking the first time the remake of the PS2 classic has been seen in over a year.

As documented by Famitsu, footage was shown at the Vita Heaven event that took place earlier today of Yuna and Tidus in action, and they're looking pretty tasty.

While it's nothing too substantial, it's comforting to know that the game is still being worked on and hasn't gone completely off the radar like a certain other Final Fantasy game we could mention.

Since being announced at the Tokyo Game Show in 2011, this is pretty much the first concrete evidence we've seen of the title being in the works. While it was originally speculated that it'd be released to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the series last year, this never came to pass.

Regardless, with the game also slated to release onPS3 though, Square Enix could do with getting a move on given the probable announcement of the PS4 later this week.
