During tonight’s PlayStation Vita stream conducted by Sony, SCEJ President Hiroshi Kawano revealed that the handheld would receive a price drop.
Both models of Vita -- 3G and Wi-Fi -- will now cost 19,980 Yen, or about $215.
It’s unclear whether the Vita will also receive a price drop in the west. We’ve reached out to Sony for clarification and will update when we hear back.
